Xanthosoma Albo Marginata

This tropical plant can be a fun addition to an indoor garden, with leaves that resemble Mickey Mouse's ears, due to the shape of the leaf and placement of the cream variegation. Care for the Mickey Mouse plant (much easier to say than Xanthosoma albo marginata!) is pretty straightforward, though possibly tricky to achieve. It requires higher humidity than what we find comfortable indoors, so if you have a well-lit bathroom, consider placing this specimen in there. Keep in mind that eventually, the Mickey Mouse plant can get two to three feet tall and wide, so it will need room to reach its potential size. Keep this one out of the mouths of chewing pets and little humans, as it can cause digestive upsets.
