Verbena 'Empress Flair Burgundy'

Verbenas offer a wide array of color choices for summer gardens, and 'Empress Flair Burgundy' verbena adds a rich, dramatic tone to the mix. This mounding, spreading variety will quickly grow to about a foot tall and 18 to 24 inches wide, so use this as a "filler-spiller" in container planters or hanging baskets, or add to sunny garden borders. Flower clusters are large and showy, catching the eye of passersby as well as bees and butterflies. Deadheading will keep new flowers coming and maintain a tidy look. Verbenas love the sun but require regular watering and fertilizing to last through until fall.
