Tradescantia tricolor €˜Pink Princess 4 Inch

It seems as though there are as many common names for tradescantia as there are varieties, and honestly, identification of specific varieties is often vague. 'Pink Princess' can be confused with 'Nanouk' as both have pink leaves mixed in with green and white variegations, but the backs of Nanouk's leaves are often purple, and they are a bit fuzzier. 'Pink Princess' is truly tricolor, providing a bright, clean look to indoor planters as a trailer. If it doesn't get enough indirect light, 'Pink Princess' may get leggy and the pink coloration may fade, so place in a well-lighted room, mist often, and water when the top soil is dry. Perfect for hanging baskets, 'Pink Princess' is mildly toxic if ingested, so best to keep out of the reach of pets and little people.
