Specialty Greens 'Pak Choi Joi Choi' Jumbo Traypack

Though slow to bolt, 'Pak Choi Jo Choi' is best planted in the early spring or late summer for a fall harvest. Plant one start every 12 inches in rows 18" - 24" apart. This hybrid variety can be harvested when five- to six inches tall for baby choi, or wait until it reaches its maximum height, around 18." Alternatively, individual outer leaves may be harvested as needed. In either case, rinse the harvested greens and stems in cold water, drain thoroughly, then refrigerate.

Culinary Uses: Excellent in stir-fries, sauteed, even raw in salads

Harvest Time: Individual outer leaves may be picked at any time. For baby choi, pick entire plant when 5" - 6" tall. Mature size - approximately 40 - 50 days.
