Snapdragons have long been a favorite of home gardeners as tall, fragrant accents in the spring and fall garden. Standing almost two feet tall, 'Sonnet Mix' snapdragons have a main flower shoot with many side blooming stems, attracting bees and hummingbirds, but not usually of interest to rabbits or deer. Though snapdragons bloom best in full sun, flowers tend to disappear once temperatures go consistently above 80 degrees. Cutting off old flowers may encourage another round of blooms.
