Product Description
If you're a bit lackidaisical in watering your houseplants, 'String of Bananas' (aka Strink of Fish Hooks) may be a good fit for you. A native to South Africa, this succulent needs a well-lit exposure inside, and like its cousin, String of Pearls, has little translucent "windows" in each leaf to let in more light. Hang this one fairly high, as 'String of Bananas' can trail up to three feet long, and those tempting little leaves should be kept out reach of chewing pets and little people. Give this fast-growing succulent periodic trims and pop the cuttings back into the pot; they'll take root and send out more strings. Move this one outside during the summer (light shade) but be sure to bring it back in when the temps drop down into the 50s.
