Sempervivum 'Chocolate Kiss' Quart

A Hens and Chicks as dark as 'Chick Charms Chocolate Kiss' is eye-catching to say the least, but pair it with bright green sedums such as 'Angelina' or 'Makinoi Ogon' and you've got a show-stopping display of contrasting color and texture. This succulent forms fairly loose rosettes that average two inches tall and anywhere from three to six inches across, often forming tight mounds. Depending upon the amount of sun it receives, 'Chocolate Kiss' can range from a red to dark burgundy. Pink flowers in late summer bring out the bees and butterflies, but deer tend to shun it. Drought tolerant once established, 'Chocolate Kiss' is a great addition to rock gardens, retaining walls, borders, container planters, and hanging baskets.
