The common name of Hens and Chicks covers a broad range of Sempervivums, with some more valued for their color while others have a striking texture. 'Key Lime Kiss' produces tightly rounded chicks that detach easily from the hen, and root just as easily to grow on their own. Predominantly a bright green, the rosettes may develop red tips, depending upon the time of year and growing conditions. Consider planting these in an outdoor hanging basket, sharing space with other varieties of succulents for a wonderful blend of colors, sizes, and textures.
