Sedum takesimense 'Atlantis'

The name "stonecrop" is a testament to sedums' ability to grow well in just about any gravelly, dry soil, and 'Atlantis' does just that. This variety forms eye-catching cream and green rosettes along thick stems in the spring, with clusters of tiny, star-like yellow flowers topping the stems in the summer. Colder temps bring out pink tones to the foliage before it dies back for the winter, along with tight, pink, baby rosettes that will ride out rain, snow, and generally nasty weather right up until spring. We love using it as a trailer in container planters and hanging baskets, though it serves well as a low-growing ground cover in small areas. Good drainage is key to keeping this flashy sedum happy and healthy, along with lots of sun.
