Sedum 'Mojave Jewels Sapphire' Quart

The 'Mojave Jewels' series of sedums boast a lineup of truly blue sedums on sturdy stems that remain upright, even when topped with flower clusters. 'Mojave Jewels Sapphire' has the bluest of foliage in this series, with erect stems reaching a foot tall and spreading to about 18 inches wide. This is a great choice for those sunny dry spots in the garden, but well-draining soil is a must. Many gardeners may find they have the best results when growing this sedum in container planters or even hanging baskets as the centerpiece. Pink flowers in late summer to early fall will add a bit of dramatic color to the garden before Sapphire Sedum dies down for the winter.
