Sedum 'Dark Dragon' 4 Inch

Dark Dragon Stonecrop is the best of both worlds, with red hues similar to Dragon's Blood stonecrop, but with the lush green leaves and spreading power of Sedum <em>tetractinum</em>. In fact, we often get these all confused in the fall because of their similar looks at that time of year. Dark Dragon stonecrop grows a bit taller than its cousins, averaging four to six inches tall and spreading by nodular roots one to two feet wide. The red-edged rosettes are fairly distinctive in spring and summer, and provide a lovely backdrop for the pink summer blooms that bees and other pollinators love. Sun and well-draining soil help this stonecrop thrive, and it does equally well in container planters, hanging baskets, trailing down retaining walls, and rock gardens.
