Sansevieria trifasciata 'Gold Dust' Quart

For those indoor gardeners that need a low-maintenance plant that is on the smaller side, consider 'Gold Dust' snake plant. Unlike its better known, straight-as-an-arrow cousins, this variety forms a rosette of sturdy, sword-like green leaves edged in yellow. About a foot tall and almost as wide, 'Gold Dust' needs a well-lit room to maintain its yellow coloring, though it doesn't mind cramped roots and won't suffer at all if "someone" forgets to water it. Don't hesitate to combine this Sansevieria with houseplants that have similar environmental needs, such as succulents and cacti, or even hoyas.
