A bit more tender than some other species of salvia, 'Sallyfun Blue Emotion' makes up for its susceptibility to cold with plentiful blue blooms and wonderfully fragrant leaves from June right up into the fall.

Bred to be an upright, early bloomer, 'Blue Emotion' is big enough to fill a 12-Inch pot all by itself, but can be the "thriller" in a mixed planting. Upright flower stalks are plentiful and continue on right up until the fall, attracting pollinators and hummingbirds. If grown in a container, consider moving 'Blue Emotion' to a sheltered spot in the garden to wait out the winter or treat it as an annual, to be replaced in the spring.
