Red raspberries are borne on nearly thornless canes from July to August. Juicy berries are excellent fresh or used for canning, freezing, and cooking.
Product Description
Product Description
Fully ripened raspberries can't be beat, and 'Canby Red' berries are easier to harvest since the canes are almost thornless. Berries appear on second-year canes that will then die, so immediately after harvesting berries in July to August, cut the cane down to the ground. This will clear the way for new canes that are sprouting at the same time.
