Product Description
While most people think of rosemary as simply an herb in the kitchen cupboard, many do not realize the value of this tough plant in the home garden. Sun-loving and drought-tolerant once established, rosemary is evergreen here in the Pacific NW, serving well in container planters, xeriscape gardens, and even as informal hedges. 'Hill Hardy' Rosemary is more compact than its cousins, topping out around two feet tall and about as wide, making it a choice selection for knot gardens or container planters. Trimming branches for cooking purposes only encourages more growth, and keeps the plant dense. Pollinators love the blue summer flowers but deer don't like the strong flavor.
