Narrow two-inch long leaves emerge a light blue-green, forming an attractive gray-blue tree/shrub with a year-round presence. Podocarpus does best in full to partial sun, becoming drought-tolerant once established. Growing 10 to 12 inches per year, 'Icee Blue' podocarpus may hit 10 - 12 feet tall and almost five feet wide at the 10-year mark. May benefit from protection from frost in the Portland metro area.
