Product Description
Pilea 'Moon Valley' is one of those houseplants that has such unusual foliage, one is tempted to touch or stroke the leaves. Named because of the leaves' resemblance to the craters and dimples of the lunar surface, 'Moon Valley' prefers a humid environment, temps between 60 and 75 degrees, and indirect light. Overwatering will cause the leaves to droop, and possibly rot the roots, but not enough water will cause the foliage to brown. Best practice is to water 'Moon Valley' until water runs out of the bottom of the pot, then leave it alone until the surface of the soil is dry. The texture of this pilea is so fascinating, it can be planted in its own container, but consider pairing it with ferns or even cyclamen for a contrast in textures and color.
