Though the blooms are similar to the ground-hugging varieties of phlox that we know and love, Sweet Summer™ Red phlox stands tall, forming an upright mound of bright color and fresh disease-resistant foliage all summer long. Pollinators will seek it out while deer tend to avoid it. Use it as a filler/thriller in container planters so garden buffs can enjoy the color and fragrance up close, or plant en masse in garden borders. Phlox will disappear with the fall frost, but comes back in the spring.
