Phlebosia 'Nicolas Diamond' Quart

As the story goes, an orchid grower (presumably Nicolas Diamond?) created this new cross between two ferns, Phlebodium  <em>aureum</em> and Pyrrosia <em>lingua</em>, quite by accident. The resulting Phlebosia is an exotic, lush fern that can grow 1-1/2 to 2 feet tall and up to three feet wide, with broad, undulating fronds. Like Phlebodium <em>aureum, </em>aka Rabbit's Foot Fern, it spreads by furry rhizomes. The broad, twisting leaves can be attributed to the Pyrrosia half. As ferns are generally considered pet-friendly, we're assuming that Phlebosia 'Nicolas Diamond' is safe for pets.
