Named in honor of a Puerto Rican botanist, 'Jose Buono' philodendron can be a striking addition to the indoor garden. Though tolerant of lower humidity, this philodendron will look its best in a well-lit environment, growing up to three to four feet tall and almost as wide at maturity. Too dark a location may lessen the variegation and not enough moisture in the air may cause the edges of leaves to brown. Not as big as some other varieties of philodendrons, 'Jose Buono' does need support to cimb.
