Petunia 'Salmon Red Vein' 4 Inch

We often roll our eyes at the whimsical names given to summer annuals, including the vast array of petunias. 'Crazytunia Black Mamba,' 'Picasso in Purple,' and 'Sweetunia Johnny Flame' are just some of the more flamboyant names, so it's rather refreshing to come across one like 'Salmon Red Vein' petunia that is named exactly what it is. Clear bright salmon colored petals, more reddish than orange, are etched with dark red veins. Mounding up to about 10" tall and spreading up to two feet, this petunia also blooms a bit earlier than some other varieties, so may be a good choice for color-starved gardeners.
