African Honey Bush' is an intriguing shrub, with soft-textured, deeply incised blue-green leaves. Attractive in large planters for a least a couple of years, it may need to go into a container of its own or into the ground as it grows. Although the springtime blooms have a honey fragrance that attracts hummingbirds and bees, the leaves also exude a peanut buttery smell. This large shrub is semi-evergreen when the winters are mild, but it may die back when there is extreme weather.
