When searching for an attractive low-growing evergreen shrub, honeysuckle will not hit on most gardeners' radars. However, 'Twiggy Box Honeysuckle' is indeed an interesting dwarf evergreen shrub that can range in foliage color from chartreuse green to a golden yellow, depending upon the amount of sunlight. Only two to three feet tall at maturity, 'Twiggy Box Honeysuckle' bears small leaves along twiggy, arching branches and may bloom in the springtime, though this is an infrequent occurrence. Box honeysuckle can handle full sun to partly sunny locations and becomes drought tolerant over time. Consider using this reliable evergreen in container planters, hanging baskets, along borders and en masse.
