Lithodora diffusa 'Grace Ward'

Grace Ward' Lithodora, aka Blue Lithospermum, is a dependable semi-evergreen ground cover in the Pacific NW, forming a dense mat of dark green, narrow, slightly hairy leaves, and with intensely blue star-like flowers in the spring and into the summer. Due to its spreading habit, this variety drapes beautifully over retaining walls or the edges of container planters/hanging baskets, and does well in rock gardens. Adaptable to full or partial sun, it does require good drainage for best results. A light shearing at the end of summer will keep this plant tidy and compact.
