Product Description
Goodwin Creek Grey' Lavender is a good example of nature doing its thing. This variety was discovered by two Oregon nursery growers in Williams, Oregon just over 20 years ago, and is assumed to be a hybrid cross between two different species of lavender (lanata and dentata for plant nerds). They didn't purposely breed it, they just found a seedling and propagated it.
That said, 'Goodwin Creek Grey' lavender has fragrant, silvery gray, tooth-edged leaves that form a compact shrub about two to three feet tall and wide. Exceptionally heat tolerant, this variety may also rebloom late in the year in warmer winter climates.
