Ivy Geranium 'Precision Red Ice'

Not quite trailing, 'Precision Red Ice' ivy geranium mounds to about a foot tall before spilling over the edges of container planters and hanging baskets. Though best suited for sunny locations, the Precision series of ivy geraniums do well in partial sun, producing semi-double flowers from late spring into the fall. Deadheading will prolong the blooming period, but if all the flowers disappear, leaving healthy green foliage, look for budworms - tiny green to grayish-green caterpillars that may also leave telltale black droppings/spots on the leaves.
