Ipomoea 'Marguerite' 4 Inch

One of the first plants that hanging basket gardeners ask for in the spring is the Sweet Potato Vine, and with good reason. The large, lush heart-shaped leaves add a vibrant pop of color to hanging baskets and tall container planters that soon covers the pots. 'Marguerite' thrives in sun or shade, and complements a variety of summer flowers and greenery. Possibly the only drawback to this luxuriant trailer is that it may get too long for container planters that sit on the ground, and when gardeners need to deconstruct the pots/baskets in the fall, they may have trouble removing the large tubers that have grown in the soil.
