Generally speaking, if one variety of hoya is happy in your house, chances are all varieties will thrive in your indoor garden. This particular wax plant has long narrow leaves that will vary in color from green to cream and even pink, depending upon the amount of light it receives. Like its cousins, 'Tricolor' will trail nicely and may eventually produce round, fragrant flower clusters. Though pet-friendly, 'Tricolor' hoya may be better suited in a hanging basket or trained up a trellis so it's kept out of the reach of chewing dogs or cats.
