Hosta 'August Moon' 1 Gallon

Hostas, aka plantain lilies, add a fresh, lush look to shady gardens, but are often plagued by slugs. 'August Moon' Hosta has a somewhat built-in defense with its heavily textured leaves that slugs seem to avoid, and is all the more beautiful with its chartreuse coloring that matures to gold. This variety is also more tolerant of sun than most other hostas, which intensifies the gold. Hummingbirds love the tall flower stalks that appear in the summer, well above the mounding leaves. 'August Moon' hosta is much wider than it is tall, spreading up to three feet wide, while topping out between 20" - 24."
