Gaura Belleza 'Dark Pink'

In our opinion, gauras, aka wand flowers or beeblossoms, are an underappreciated perennial for the summer garden. Narrow green, red-tinged leaves line stems that are topped by bright pink flowers, and wave gently in summer breezes. Full sun and regular water will make this deep pink version happy, and hummingbirds and pollinators will love the blooms that start coming in the summer and continue on into early fall. It does die down in the winter but will return in the spring, adding textural interest as well as color to the summer garden.
