Fuchsia microphylla 'Isis' 1 Gallon

We cannot sing the praises enough of hardy fuchsias, one of the stars of Pacific NW shade gardens. Coming in a range of foliage size and color, one could plant five or more varieties and no two would look alike. 'Isis' is classified as a miniature fuchsia, standing only 10 to 12 inches tall and about as wide, with small dark green leaves and a profusion of deep rose and white blooms. Contrasting red stems add further interest to this petite specimen, making it a great option for front of border shade gardens, container planters, and hanging baskets. Interestingly enough, 'Isis' is a bit more sun-hardy than many of its cousins and can handle all but the hottest afternoon sun. Oh, and this little cutie will come back year after year with little effort on the part of the gardener. Simply prune back the dead stems in late fall or winter before the new growth emerges, and you're good to go for another splendid season.
