Product Description
We love hardy fuchsias for the shade garden and the varieties available are diverse and frankly, amazing. 'DebRon's Black Cherry' fuchsia has semi-double flowers with maroon sepals (the outer petals) and dark purple to almost black corollas. Emerging in spring, this variety is typically two to three feet tall and wide, though it has been known to exceed those dimensions. Morning sun and afternoon shade or all day dappled sun will encourage the most blooms. Hardy fuchsias will keep on blooming right up until freeze, and bees and hummingbirds take advantage of the long bloom period. Cut hardy fuchsias back in late fall to winter, before new growth appears in the spring.
