Ficus shivereana 'Moonshine'

'Moonshine' rubber tree is in fact not a Ficus elastica, so it's not the same as other well-known varieties such as 'Ruby' or 'Tineke,' but has similar growing requirements. A well-lit room (a must to maintain the glorious variegation), deep but infrequent watering, and higher humidity will keep this specimen looking its best. Growing anywhere from three to six feet tall and one to three feet wide, 'Moonshine' is a worthy focal point of an indoor garden, but it will take some time. As is true of all Ficus, keep this specimen out of the mouths of pets and little humans.
