Weeping figs are a popular house plant, especially for those seeking a tree form that doesn't take up much space. When grown indoors, Ficus benjamina usually stays a manageable three to six feet tall, and two to four feet wide. This specimen can be a bit fussy to start, possibly dropping leaves, but let it acclimate to its home, then don't move it if at all possible. As a tropical plant, weeping figs enjoy lots of indirect light and a thorough watering only when the top inch of soil is dry. Please keep pets away from this ficus - they could suffer gastric distress if ingested.
