Fatshedera lizei 'Angyo Star' 10 Gallon

Angyo Star' fatshedera is a cross between Fatsia japonica and English ivy, with none of the invasive or destructive qualities of the latter. The large variegated, palmate leaves add a bold statement to the shade garden year-round, and with support (trellis or stakes) will eventually climb to five or six feet tall and four to five feet wide. Springtime pruning and an application of fertilizer will encourage more branching and will keep 'Angyo Star' happy and healthy. Consider placing fatshedera at the back of the border, as a backdrop for ferns, Japanese forest grass, blooming perennials, or seasonal annuals. For those individuals with well-lit atriums or rooms with lots of indirect light, fatshedera would be a stunning addition to indoor gardens.
