Euphorbia 'Stardust Super Flash' 4 Inch

Gardeners are often surprised to learn that this airy, fine-textured annual is in the same family as the evergreen euphorbia sub-shrubs with their distinctive flower bracts. 'Stardust Super Flash' euphorbia is in fact opposite in looks, texture and staying power, with a dainty cap of white flowers atop thin mounding stems. Growing into an upright mound ranging from 10 to 18 inches tall and wide, this summer annual provides a dramatic textural contrast to geraniums, sunpatiens, and other broader leafed flowers. Consider using this in all-white flower baskets for an elegant look. At the other end of the scale, 'Stardust Super Flash' will make colored flowers all the brighter against the white blooms. Though delicate looking, this euphorbia is somewhat drought-tolerant when planted in the ground, and does best in sun to partial sun.
