Echinacea 'Kismet White'

The Kismet series of coneflowers are on the shorter side for echinacea (about 15" tall) but make up for height with their prolific, long-lasting blooms, even in the first year. These white flowers maintain their color (rather than browning out) while gradually developing the characteristic cone as the flowers mature. Blooms remain fresh on the plant for weeks, and are of course, fabulous cut flowers. This upright perennial handles the sunniest of locations, making it an excellent choice for rock gardens, and is equally attractive in container planters, cut-flower gardens, and even hanging baskets. 'Kismet White' will keep on flowering right up until frost. Leave the spent flowers on the plant, as birds love the seeds.
