Echeveria nodulosa 'Painted Echeveria'

Echeverias are absolutely fascinating with all the various shapes, textures, and colors. Painted echeveria has distinctive cupped green leaves and red stripes running the length of the leaves, forming rosettes that can grow to five inches across. Should these be grown outdoors? Only during warmer weather, and not necessarily is the hottest spots - light shade in the afternoon would be ideal. Can they be grown indoors year-round? Yes, but they need a very well-lit room or lacking that, under grow lights. Well-draining soil and deep but infrequent watering will keep echeverias looking their best.
