Indoor gardeners looking for taller specimens sometimes find that a plant that offers the desired height is too wide for a chosen space. Dracaenas are a great solution, and 'Warneckii' has lush green and white, sword-like foliage atop sturdy narrow stems that can eventually grow to five feet tall but stay under two feet wide. Dracaenas lose their leaves from the bottom up, so consider planting them with other houseplants to fill in the base of the pot as the dracaena grows. Pothos or any variety of self-heading philodendrons would work well with 'Warneckii' as they have similar requirements for light and water.
