Delosperma Echinatum 'Pickle' 4 Inch

The Pickle Plant allegedly can grow outdoors in warm weather, but will die back when subjected to freezing temps, so we prefer to keep this unusual succulent indoors in as bright a room as possible. Growing six to eight inches tall, this ice plant relative may spread to 18 inches wide, so consider placing it near the edge of a container planter and allow it to drape over the side. Given enough light, the Pickle Plant may actually bloom, anytime from late fall into early spring, sending out dainty, ice plant like yellow flowers. As is true with most succulents, too much water may cause root rot, so water thoroughly only when the top inch of soil is dry.
