Cucumber 'Pickling' 4 Inch

Growing your own pickling cucumbers lets you control the size! Harvest them anywhere from 1-1/2" long to large pickle size, but always pick before the fruits turn yellow. Trellis cucumber plants to save garden space and make harvesting easier. Water deeply when the soil is dry, and consider planting bee-attracting flowers nearby to improve yields. Male flowers appear first on long vines in order to attract pollinators, then female flowers emerge to form the fruits, so the more bees, the more cucumbers.
