Product Description
Gardeners may shy away from Silverbush, or Bush Morning Glory, thinking that it's that horribly invasive annual flowering vine. On the contrary, this lovely low-growing shrub stands out all year long with lance-shaped leaves that are covered with a fine down of silver-gray hairs. Pure white flowers that look like morning glory blooms emerge from pale pink buds in the spring and summer, attracting bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Bush Morning Glory is drought tolerant once established and requires little attention, maybe a light pruning after blooms disappear to maintain a tidy shape. We've used it with great success in container planters and hanging baskets, and it pairs especially well with red and blue toned companion plants and flowers.
