Bright green veins and stems stand in stark contrast to the greenish-black, heart-shaped leaves that could reach two feet in length.
Product Description
Product Description
Aloha Elephant Ear is a bit hardier than some of its cousins, and can handle temperatures down to zero degrees, making it a choice option for tropical gardens in the maritime Pacific NW. This variety forms a clump three to four feet tall and wide, with leaves that can be up to a foot wide and two feet long. Though colocasias can handle full sun, they need lots of water, so consider placing this specimen where it will get all-day dappled sun or afternoon shade. As a perennial in the outdoor garden, 'Aloha' colocasia will die down in the fall and winter, but it can be brought indoors for the winter if grown in a container.
