'Bourbon Street' coleus looks as though the burgundy leaves were dipped carefully in lime green, accentuating the deeply serrated edges.

The bright green edges of the dark burgundy leaves is representative of 'Bourbon Street's' dual nature, able to grow in full sun as well as the darker areas of the summer garden. More compact in size than some other coleuses, 'Bourbon Street' forms a mound about a foot tall and wide. Pinching the tips of stems will keep it compact, making it a wonderful addition to hanging baskets, container planters or in mixed garden borders. Unremarkable flowers may start to appear in the summer, attracting hummingbirds and pollinators. Pinch out the flowers to prolong the plant's life.
