Florida Sun Rose' coleus will add color and texture to the shadier spots of the garden, whether in the ground along borders or mass plantings, or in container planters. This upright variety will grow one to two feet tall and 12 to 18 inches wide, providing a vibrant backdrop for other flowering shade annuals or a stunning contrast for shade perennials such as Japanese Forest Grass or brunnera. Pinching out the tips of stems will keep 'Florida Sun Rose' more compact; pinching out any flower spikes will extend the life of the plant, usually right up until freeze.
