A common name for celosia is 'Cockscomb' but that certainly is misleading when describing 'Fresh Look' celosia's profile. 10-inch tall puffy plumes of color rise above dense mounds of fresh green foliage that can spread up to 18 inches wide. Continuous output of new blooms hide spent ones, so there's no need to deadhead; however, the cut flowers are beautiful fresh or dried.
