Calathea roseopicta €˜Rosey Quart

Many of the Rose-painted Prayer Plants seem to have ornately painted leaves with precise patterns of green, silver, pink/red coloring. Calathea Rosey skips most of that and sports a predominantly bright pink leave with green all around the edges. This is definitely an eye-catching house plant, and deserves all the TLC it needs to be its best. All calatheas need higher humidity, though they prefer dry feet, so place this little beauty's pot on a saucer-full of pebbles filled halfway with water. Regular misting of the leaves will keep them fresh and will stave off the brown edges that usually mean the air is too dry.
