Begonia 'T-Rex First Blush' 1 Gallon

We're never quite sure where we should place the T-Rex begonias in the summer - on the outdoor shade tables or in the houseplant section? Forming vigorous foot-plus mounds of almost prehistoric looking leaves, 'T-Rex First Blush' begonias make quite a statement in container planters, hanging baskets and along the front of shade borders. Dark red veins contrast starkly against silvery pointed leaves that take on pink to red hues as the season progresses. Plant this with tuberous begonias and Japanese Forest Grass for an outdoor color extravaganza. This begonia can't handle cold weather, so consider growing it in a container that can be easily transported indoors when the outdoor temps are below 55 degrees. Or keep things easy and grow indoors year-round for a spectacular statement plant.
