Begonia 'Big Pink Green Leaf' 1 Gallon

The Big series of fibrous begonias is much larger than the standard varieties, growing 18 inches tall and wide. Waxy heart-shaped green leaves are topped by clusters of dainty pink blooms that emerge from scarlet buds, allowing for a broader color palette when combining with other summer blooms. Technically a perennial, 'Big Pink Green Leaf' begonia is a bit too tender for Pacific NW weather, although it has a big presence in the garden from late spring into the fall. This variety can handle sun and shade as long as the soil is well-draining, so plant it in container planters and hanging baskets, or along walkways and in mass plantings for a stunning splash of color.
