Aquilegia 'Winky Double Red/White'

Winky Double Columbine' emerges in the spring and begins putting out upward facing blooms in late spring. 'Winky Double Red/White' columbine flowers have deep rose outer petals and white inner petals touched with more rose tones, topping compact mounds of foliage that stand 12 to 14 inches tall and are about as wide. More sun means more blooms, but columbine will produce blooms in partial shade. Aquilegia are known for their ability to self-sow, although the subsequent blooms from the new seedlings may not remain consistent with the original plant.
